PhoNo - Mobile-Free Cycling
PhoNo is a free Android app developed by Interpolis, falling under the Travel & Navigation category. With the app, you can cycle mobile-free without needing a WiFi or 4G connection.
Since July 1st, 2019, it has been illegal to hold your phone while cycling in the Netherlands, resulting in a fine of €47.50 or €The PhoNo app helps you cycle mobile-free in a fun way, whether you are heading to school, work, or your friends' place. By doing so, not only do you keep your wallet happy, but you also help make the roads safer. For every minute that you cycle mobile-free, Interpolis donates to the Noordzee Foundation, which aims to clean up the seas and beaches. All you have to do is cycle with PhoNo.
